Exclusive write up concerning youth's today from xclusive mind Temidayo
YOUTHS TODAY.
A youth is a young adult. According to Arcus dictionary youth is the time of time of life between childhood and maturity. A youth is vigorous, fresh and easily influenced. Today simply refers to the present time or age.
Youths of today are totally different from the youths of olden days. The difference is so clear in terms of dressings, social life, way of living, aproach and lots more. Most youths believe because we are now in the technology and jet age, they are free to do anything without considering the consequences they are likely to face.
One of the problems affecting the youths of today, is the inability to balance and schedule their time and day to day activities. Looking at it from the Education system, most youths don't put in their best, but they do so when it comes to social activities. Note, am not against social activities. Social activities are good in the sense that they aid communicating and interacting skills, but too much of everything is not good. Everything has to be done moderately and this is where the use of timetable sets in.
Every youths should be able to manage their time and utilize it for the proper things- what they will benefit from. They should imbibe the culture of doing the right thing at the right time. Everything should be balanced so that there won't be malnutrition in any aspect.
Also, they should endeavor to follow their timetable. It is a different thing to create a timetable and it is another thing to follow it. In creating the timetable, the time allocation should be done in the order of priorities. It has been discovered that most youths place their priorities on things that are not necessary. For example, a student that is supposed to be in the lecture theatre, but he is in the cinema all in the name of 'I want to enjoy my life'.
My advice to all youths out there is that, at the end of everyday, they should play an imaginary video of how they spent their day and the question to be asked is- "did I achieve anything?".
